Bought this for my wife's iPhone 4 (Verizon) and SHE LOVES IT!! She had a Griffin military grade case that is similar in that it has the hard composite case including screen protection and the rubberized outer covering. However, the Griffin was bulkier in all dimensions and covered the back camera so she had to pry out a rubber piece from the back of the phone and hold it out of the way anytime she wanted to take pics/vid. With this case, she gets awesome protection (see OtterBox test videos), but she also has quick and easy access to all functions of her phone AND it's in a smaller package. I HIGHLY recommend OtterBox to anybody w/a smartphone. I also use one on my DroidX, and I love that one too.
Note on color: This case is not as red as it looks in the picture. It's actually a very nice orange color in good light.
